Andy Biersack has issued a heartfelt apology following the cancellation of Black Veil Brides’ remaining Latin American tour dates, as announced on the band’s official Instagram.
The band cited unforeseen circumstances in their official statement. They expressed gratitude to their Latin American fans and promised to return soon. Biersack’s personal statement addressed the disappointment directly and explained the reasoning behind the difficult decision.
“First of all I want to apologize to anyone who bought tickets to these shows and made plans and scheduled their lives around coming to see us, I sincerely and without any bullshit feel horrible about disappointing you,” Biersack said.
He acknowledged the band’s strong relationship with Latin American fans and explained the challenges they faced.
“It’s well documented that we have always had a great relationship with the LATAM fans and had hoped that this run of shows would be able to be pulled off effectively despite the challenges that it has faced for some time now,” he continued. “The reality is that there are just logistical issues both internally and externally that would severely hinder our ability to effectively continue the tour. We wanted to do it regardless and give you the best show possible as we did in Bogota last night but it became increasingly clear that between the aforementioned issues and conditions that were contributing to illness within members of our crew and camp we couldn’t continue on and deliver you the highest quality show that you deserve.”
Biersack emphasized the band’s commitment to returning to the region and addressed speculation surrounding the cancellation.
“We have every intention of coming back (we did a headline tour of this exact region less than a year ago that was amazing and we all had a blast on) and we will do so in a way that ensures the quality that we feel we owe you,” he stated. “If you wish to fill the information vacuum with anger and rumors (my nose is not broken again) or listen to self ordained experts or individuals who claim to somehow know the true intentions of people that they categorically do not actually know at all, then that is your prerogative. I get that you are mad and disappointed in us and I don’t blame you for wanting answers. I will not however point fingers or try to scape goat anyone or rake up drama. Shitty situations have many authors, and to try to throw anyone under the bus wouldn’t be right.”
He concluded by taking responsibility and reaffirming the band’s commitment to their fans.
“I will only say that this is what happened, that we take responsibility for disappointing you, that we wish the remaining bands on the bill nothing but the best and hope that any issues this has caused them are remedied and once again tell YOU that we love you, we are sorry and we promise to see you again soon,” Biersack said.
The band successfully performed in Bogota before making the decision to cancel the remaining tour dates.
The cancellation marks another challenging moment for the band. Black Veil Brides has faced several tour disruptions in recent months. Metal Insider reported that the primary reason for the October 2025 LATAM tour cancellations was Andy Biersack’s viral infection. The illness made him unable to perform and forced the band to prioritize his health and recovery.
The cancelled tour included multiple dates across Latin America. Shows were planned for Mexico City, Bogotá, and other major cities in the region. Chaoszine noted that the band announced the full cancellation of remaining Latin American shows in late October 2025. They expressed their commitment to reschedule and return to the region as soon as possible.
This is not the first time Black Veil Brides has had to cancel tour dates due to unforeseen circumstances. Loudwire revealed that the band previously cancelled shows following the passing of Andy Biersack’s grandfather. On another occasion, Biersack broke his nose onstage, leading to additional cancellations.
Despite these setbacks, the band has maintained a strong connection with their Latin American fanbase. Biersack referenced their successful headline tour of the region less than a year ago. He emphasized that the current cancellations were made to ensure they could deliver the quality performance their fans deserve. The band has promised to return to Latin America and make up for the disappointment caused by the cancelled dates.
