Andreas Kisser doesn’t give up on his plan to reunite Sepultura members to reunite for one last show.

Kisser joined a short interview with Reality Check TV and talked about Sepultura’s final show. When he was asked whether there was a possibility for Max and Igor Cavalera to join the band on their ongoing farewell tour, the guitarist responded, “I hope so. The idea is to do a very last show [in 2026] in São Paulo, Brazil, where we have all the guests, and friends to celebrate our history.”

The guitarist also sent a message to invite his former bandmates for a final reunion, emphasizing there was no reason to fight anymore. He stated, “There’s no reason to be fighting. We just go on stage and enjoy ourselves. We know how to play the songs.” Andreas continued, “It’s gonna be a party for the fans. Forty years of history, it’s a lot — many albums, many different changes, and different styles of music. And it’s gonna be an amazing party — I hope so — and hopefully everybody will be a part [of it].”

This wasn’t the first time Kisser talked about his wish to reunite with the Cavalera brothers. Last year, he sent a public activation to Max and Igor during an interview with Moshpit Passion. He said, “We would like to invite all the ex-members, including the brothers, Cavalera brothers. We’re working towards that, to have a big celebration for the fans.”

Sepultura kicked off the ‘Celebrating Life Through Death’ farewell tour on September 17, 2024. In the next leg of their tour, Sepultura will perform around South America. You can see the dates and find tickets here.
