In a recent post on Instagram, Slipknot singer Corey Taylor’s wife and Cherry Bombs’ founder Alicia Taylor shared her feelings about Corey’s son, Griffin Taylor.
As you may know, Corey Taylor married Scarlett Stone in 2004. Before their marriage, Scarlett gave birth to their son Griffin Parker on September 17, 2002. However, the pair’s marriage did not last long, and they divorced in 2007. On April 7, 2019, Corey announced that he got engaged to the dance group Cherry Bombs’ founder Alicia Dove and the pair got married on October 6, 2019.
As September 17 was Griffin’s 19th birthday, both Corey and Alicia celebrated this special day on social media. His father chose to celebrate his son’s birthday in a simple way, while Alicia wrote an open letter for Griffin on her Instagram. Additionally, she included lots of pictures and videos with Griffin in the post in which they both look adorable.
In the post, Alicia stated that she loves Griffin very much and then pointed out how he grew up so quickly in a short period. Following that, she mentioned that she is proud of what Griffin has become. Cherry Bombs’ dancer then pointed out that Griffin has a bright future ahead, and she feels so lucky to get to watch it unfold.
Here is the letter that Alicia Taylor wrote for Griffin on her Instagram:
“Happy Birthday, Son! I love you!
I can’t believe how much you’ve grown! I am so stoked and beyond proud of the young man you’ve become. You have such a bright future ahead of you, and I am so lucky to get to watch it unfold. Never stop fighting for your health and happiness!
You are doing amazing things! Here’s to many more years of doing your hair, travels, shows, dance parties, manicures, and less terrifying car rides.”
