Alice Cooper Says Keith Richards And Mick Jagger Are The Architects Of Modern Rock And Roll
Musician and filmmaker Alice Cooper spoke in a recent interview with BBC Radio and praised Mick Jagger and Keith Richards as he talks about his favorite songs from the ‘80s.
In the conversation, Alice put Guns N’ Roses’ ‘Welcome To The Jungle’ song into the first place and said that Appetite for Destruction could be one of the best debut albums in the world.
Furthermore, Alice chose Bon Jovi’s ‘Bad Medicine’ and Joan Jett & The Blackhearts’ ‘I Hate Myself For Loving You’ in order. Afterward, he revealed his ultimate choice from that era, The Rolling Stones’ ‘Start Me Up.’
While saying that this song shows what The Rolling Stones could prove themselves no matter what they give to the people and praised Mick and Keith by saying that they are the architects of modern rock and roll.

“My ultimate ’80s choice is ‘Start Me Up,’ The Rolling Stones. This song just shows that The Rolling Stones were The Rolling Stones no matter what they gave us.
“It had that great Keith Richards opening, then Mick just kills this song. To this day, they are still writing songs like this and they are the architects of modern rock ‘n’ roll, as far as I’m concerned.”
