Slaughter To Prevail frontman Alex Terrible has addressed criticism regarding the opening acts on the band’s headline tour. He responded to negative fan reactions in a statement shared on Instagram.
The vocalist expressed his frustration with fans who complained about the tour’s supporting lineup. The lineup includes Suicide Silence and Dying Fetus.
“I went to Suicide Silence and Dying Fetus pages and read all hate comments from people,” Alex Terrible said. “They mad about our own headline tour.”
He went on to explain his personal connection to the opening bands and his conflicted feelings about the situation.
“Listen I grew up with Suicide Silence music and never imagined they will open for my band,” he continued. “To be honest I still don’t know how to react for this and for me personally I prefer touring without any support bands. Just us and we did it a lot of times already and sell out big Venues which is very very good.”
The frontman also highlighted the contradictory nature of fan complaints about the tour arrangements.
“But people always complained it was just us and they want more,” he said. “Well our team worked it out and asked sick bands to tour with us and now people complain this band touring with us coz of US in our own tour WHAT THE FFFF?!”
