The Haunted have started work on their first new album in seven years.

On August 1, drummer Adrian Erlandsson posted a photo of his drum kit on social media. The rocker shared the picture with the caption, “Working on drums for the next album of The Haunted.”

The band’s guitarist Ola Englund first mentioned that they were working on new material via his YouTube channel in 2022, and it seems like the band is still in the writing stage. There is no date yet for the new album’s release.
