Adam Jones Says He Is Just Floating On Air As He Introduces His 1979 Les Paul Custom

Tool guitarist Adam Jones made a new agreement with Gibson and got a brand new model of his guitar, 1979 Les Paul Custom.

Since the beginning of rock music, Gibson was one of the biggest guitar brands that provided such great guitar to the musicians, and they made lots of Les Paul models for musicians like Guns N’ Roses’ Slash, Led Zeppelin’s Jimmy Page, and more.

However, there are only a few guitarists that use Les Paul guitars in the metal community, and Tool’s Adam Jones is one of them. He is known for his iconic 1979 Les Paul Custom Silverburst model.

While Adam Jones was introducing the new models of this eye-catching guitar, he also stated that he is floating on the air because Gibson made such a great guitar once again.

Here is what Adam Jones said:

“I told Gibson, ‘You know, the wood was different back then…’ And they went, ‘We’re going to match it.’ And the guitar is heavy, man.

For the person interested in getting what I get out of the guitar, I think they’re going to be very happy with the results, too. So I’m just floating on air, you know? I’m a foot above the ground.”
