AC/DC Is Nominated In 3 Different Categories At Billboard Music Awards With ‘Power Up’ Album

AC/DC shared a post on its official Twitter page announcing its nominations for this year’s Billboard Music Awards for three different categories, ‘Top Duo/Group,’ ‘Top Rock Artists,‘ and ‘Top Rock Album‘ with the latest studio album, ‘Power Up.’

As many of you know, ‘Power Up‘ is the seventeenth studio album of AC/DC, released on November 13, 2020, and received immense success by reaching number one in 21 countries including US Billboard 200 and US Top Rock Albums of Billboard and selling 1.4 million copies worldwide.

Thanks to the band’s successful career that spans over nearly 5 decades, AC/DC had a total of 24 award nominations including American Music Awards, APRA Awards, MTV VMA’s, and many more, while the band won 12 awards such as a Grammy Award for ‘Best Hard Rock Performance,’ and Classic Rock Roll of Honour Awards for ‘Band of the Year.’

This year’s Billboard Music Awards, which is going to take place on May 23, finalists are happened to be announced just recently and AC/DC who previously didn’t receive a nomination for a BBMA shared a post on its official Twitter page revealing its nominations for three different categories.

For 2021 BBMA’s, AC/DC is nominated for ‘Top Duo/Group‘ along with musicians such as Maroon 5 and BTS, as well as being nominated for ‘Top Rock Artist,’ which includes artists like Five Finger Death Punch, Machine Gun Kelly, and Twenty One Pilots, with a final category that includes the band’s last album, ‘Power Up,’ ‘Top Rock Album.’
