Aaron Lewis Warns Americans: ‘Trump Can’t Save You’

Staind founder Aaron Lewis has criticized the government, expressing his belief that the elected officials have not effectively fulfilled even the most fundamental and crucial responsibilities.

Lewis shared his thoughts on the current political landscape in the United States before performing his single ‘Am I The Only One’ during his concert at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida on February 11.

Despite being known to be a supporter of right-wing acts and Trump, the singer warned Americans that Trump can’t save them:

“No one’s coming. Donald Trump can’t save you. He’s just willing to stand at the tip of the spear.”

He then clarified what people have been getting wrong about Trump supporters:

“What they don’t get is that we’re not blind Donald Trump followers. We are wide-awake Americans that see it all. We see the evil, we see the corruption. We see everything that they’re trying to do to divide us, because they know that we’re one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. And if they can break that, they win.”

Lewis’ Record Label Does Not Support His Ideas

The singer, known for his outspoken conservative stance and transformation into a solo country artist in recent years, has released quite a few controversial songs. In an early interview, the musician admitted that the record label that markets his solo material doesn’t agree with his conservative message. The information was revealed by the singer himself after the release of his country hit ‘Am I The Only One,’

Still, Lewis says that he is very lucky and that he appreciates him a lot.
