Kelly Hansen Bursts Into Tears During Live Foreigner Show Seeing Fans’ ‘Overwhelming’ Support

Foreigner’s Kelly Hansen got emotional on stage.

In a recent video shared by the journalist Mitch Lafon on X, the Foreigner rocker gets teary-eyed because of the overwhelming fan support. The rocker thanked his fans during his speech. He said:

“I just wanna say thank you guys for all the years. It’s so stupid because and I’ve said it before is that you come up on stage to sing these songs in order to do them the way that we need to do them you need to open up your heart and let the songs come to you. But what happens is that also love comes to you and sometimes it’s overwhelming so forgive me. I just had a moment there so sorry about that.”

Foreigner’s Future Plans

The band’s bassist Jeff Pilson has some plans but they are different than what you might expect.

In an interview with Trunk Nation With Eddie Trunk, Pilson spoke about Foreigner’s farewell tour. The bassist revealed a few things when asked if it is bittersweet for him to play his final shows. As it seems, Foreigner will write new music and perform in places like casinos:

“We will still do some dates in ’25. They’re gonna be select, probably more corporate, maybe some casinos, but much, much lighter schedule — way lighter schedule. So it’s not over with yet, and there’s also some music that we’re gonna try and finish up in 2025, which would be great, some songs that have been kicking around that we need to finish.”
