“Europe!! I’m coming to do some one of a kind experiences with you,” Yungblud announced. “Performing some new songs, a q&a and a secret viewing of something super special we’ve been working on.”
In a separate interview, Yungblud elaborated on his ambitious plans for the performances.
“My vibe is I’m going to play the album from start to finish with an orchestra, have an interval, then come on and play some hits,” he explained.
The artist described his vision for the emotional journey he wants to create for audiences.
“It’s gonna be an adventure when you see it live,” Yungblud said. “One minute you’re going mental, one minute you’re crying, one minute you’re turning to your mate and telling them you love them, one minute you’re moshing. I want it to be like a religious experience.”
These ambitious tour plans come at a pivotal moment in Yungblud’s career. He prepares to release new material and expand his global reach.
Consequence reported that his new album IDOLS is set to drop on June 20, 2025. The album marks his fourth studio LP and the first part of a double album. The timing of these European dates aligns strategically with this major release.
The album explores deeper themes that reflect Yungblud’s artistic evolution. His official website revealed that IDOLS examines “hero worship” and the human need for validation, emphasizing self-belief and personal growth.
“We turn to others for an identity before turning to ourselves,” Yungblud explained in a press release. “Self-belief, self-reclamation, self-evolution and change.”
The European announcement is part of a broader touring strategy that will see Yungblud performing across multiple continents. Consequence noted that fans will also have opportunities to see him on his North American tour. The tour kicks off in Los Angeles on August 23 before heading to major cities across the continent.
