Wolfgang Van Halen Responds To Van Halen Fans Who Reminds Him ‘He’s Not Eddie’

Mammoth WVH founder Wolfgang Van Halen responded to his fans’ comments on his upcoming album on Twitter, however, some of them insisted on comparing him with his late father and guitar legend Eddie Van Halen.

The late guitar legend Eddie Van Halen‘s son Wolfgang has been working on his solo album for a while now. After losing his father almost three months ago, Wolf released the first single titled ‘Distance‘ from his highly-anticipated album to honor his beloved father. Wolf’s release achieved critical acclaim but most importantly touched Van Halen fans deeply with his reference to his father with his lyrics.

However, the young musician has been still receiving many comments about his music from Van Halen fans who often compare them with his late father’s works. Recently on Twitter, Wolfgang once again responded to the Van Halen fans who ‘reminded’ him that he is not Eddie Van Halen.

In his response, Wolf emphasized that he has never claimed that he is Eddie and it was quite unnecessary of people to think that he is trying to be exactly like his father. Wolfgang once again mentioned that he is his own person who is not trying to be someone else.

Another Twitter user also stated that Wolf is not Eddie and lately he got more mature to not get into arguments with haters on social media. However, he called the Twitter user a caveman pointing out the grammar mistakes in his tweet and simply wished him a good day without responding to his comment about Eddie at all.

Here is what a Twitter user stated about Wolfgang Van Halen and his music:

“Wolf is awesome but he is not Edward.

To which Wolf responded:

No shit I’m not Edward, we’re different people. What is it with you people that say this? Do I walk around like I’m my dad? When people say ‘Hey Wolf’ do I go ‘No. I’m Eddie!’??

If I was a carbon copy of my father that would be boring as hell. I’m my own person, ya fuckers.

Another Twitter user wrote in their comment:

“We know your not Eddie, he matures enough not to argue on Twitter sheesh every day with you.”

Here is how Wolfgang replied to his follower’s tweet:

“And you caveman just discover tweeter. Difficult time make a full sentence you have, good day sir”
