Tommy Lee recently commented on Mötley Crüe’s upcoming The Return Of Carnival Of Sins tour. He shared his perspective on the band’s longevity in a statement featured on Fox 32 Chicago.

Lee reflected on the original Carnival Of Sins tour and explained the motivation behind bringing it back. “Well, first of all, the original ‘Carnival Of Sins’ tour was absolutely insane. The production was — it was a carnival, and it was insane. So we’re bringing that back, because there’s so many fans out there that never got to experience that,” he said.

The drummer emphasized what he sees as the most meaningful aspect of the band’s career: the multi-generational appeal of their music. “And I was just telling somebody else, my favorite thing in the whole world is that our music has transcended. And there’s nothing cooler on the planet than seeing somebody out there and they got their son or their daughter on their shoulders, singing, ‘Shout, Shout, Shout,'” Lee explained.

Lee pointed to these moments as evidence of the band’s staying power. “As a musician, I’m looking out there while I’m playing. I’m, like, ‘Man, that kid’s, like, nine years old. What the hell?’ That just tells me that we’re gonna be around for quite a long time,” he concluded.

Lee’s comments come as Mötley Crüe prepares to revive one of rock’s most iconic touring experiences. Mötley Crüe’s official announcement reveals that The Return Of Carnival Of Sins tour will kick off on July 17, 2026. The tour will run through September 26, 2026, featuring 33 North American shows. Special guests Tesla and Extreme will join the lineup, bringing together a powerhouse collection of rock acts.

The original Carnival Of Sins tour was a landmark event in rock history. It was known for its elaborate production and unforgettable performances. By bringing back this tour concept, Mötley Crüe is capitalizing on the nostalgia of longtime fans while introducing the experience to a new generation. Ticketsales reported that the tour will span major cities across North America. Dates are scheduled from July through September 2026.

For fans eager to secure their spot, Ticketmaster indicates that tickets are available through official outlets and the Mötley Crüe website. The staggered schedule across the summer and early fall gives fans multiple opportunities to catch the legendary band and their special guests in their region.

Lee’s observation about multi-generational audiences underscores why Mötley Crüe remains a vital force in rock music. The band’s ability to attract both longtime devotees and younger listeners speaks to the timeless quality of their catalog. Their continued relevance in the music industry is evident in these cross-generational connections. With The Return Of Carnival Of Sins tour on the horizon, the band is poised to prove Lee’s point once again.
