Mötley Crüe’s Tommy Lee has been hospitalized with a hand injury, as revealed by his wife Brittany through a recent Instagram story.
The post, which included a photo of Lee in the hospital sporting a bandaged hand, captioned:
“Such a champ.”
Uncertainty Over Upcoming Mötley Crüe Concerts
However, his wife offered no details on the nature of the injury. The rocker appeared to be in good spirits despite the bandage, but the injury raises concerns about the band’s upcoming concert schedule.
With Lee’s hand injury, questions loom over the band’s ability to fulfill their upcoming tour dates. Mötley Crüe is currently on a break from live performances and is set to return to the stage in May at the Hard Rock Hotel Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

The band will have appearances at Welcome to Rockville 2024 in Daytona Beach, Florida, Summerfest 2024 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and concluding at the Ottawa Bluesfest in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, in July. Furthermore, the band has recently announced a new show date for the North Dakota State Fair on July 19, 2024, an event that attracts over 300,000 visitors annually. They wrote on Instagram:
“Just announced! Mötley Crüe is kicking off the 2024 North Dakota State Fair on Friday, July 19! Tickets on sale in March. Stay Tuned!”
Anticipation For New Developments
Mötley Crüe had also generated buzz with hints of a major announcement on January 17, coinciding with the anniversary of the band’s formation. They later launched the Crüeseum, a virtual museum showing the band’s wild 40-year journey in rock music.
Fans are also speculating about possible new music, especially after Nikki Sixx’s hint on X about an upcoming album in 2024. As the band prepares for its new album, there is a change in its lineup. With Mick Mars focusing on his solo album, guitarist John 5 is expected to step in, marking a new chapter for Mötley Crüe.
