Tom Morello Shares New Song ‘Weather Strike’ Featuring Pussy Riot And Shows How To Play The Song’s Main Riff

Rage Against the Machine guitarist and political activist, Tom Morello, announced the release of his new song as a collaboration with Pussy Riot sharing the special riff on his Twitter account.

Apart from his successful career in Rage Against the Machine, Morello was mostly known from his supergroup Audioslave which he formed with Soundgarden’s Chris Cornell. From 2016 to 2019, he was a member of a supergroup named Prophets of Rage and was a touring musician with Bruce Springsteen and E Street Band. 

His new project is ‘Weather Strike’ which is a collaboration with Pussy Riot. Pussy Riot is a Russian feminist protest punk rock and performance art group. The group had many unauthorized provocative performances which were made clips and shared on the internet.

Tom Morello and Pussy Strike’s ‘Weather Strike’ was released on April 30, 2021, produced by Carl Restivo, and its video directed by Ksti Hu. Recently, Tom Morello has revealed the special guitar riff which he was created for the new song from his official Twitter accounts.
