Taylor Hawkins Recalls The ‘Weird’ Moment With Paul McCartney

Foo Fighter drummer Taylor Hawkins revealed the bizarre moment he had with Paul McCartney during a recent appearance on The Howard Stern Show.
In the conversation, Taylor talked about the time when he met with Paul McCartney at his house and mentioned that Paul knew what he would feel about meeting with him, and because of that, he tried to diffuse the tension between them.
Afterward, Taylor pointed out that he went to McCartney’s house just for partying and revealed why the party felt so funny and awkward at the same time as he recalled the time when he used drugs.
According to Taylor, after McCartney played the piano, the eyes were on the guitarist, but bizarrely, they were all left-handed. Later on, Taylor Swift started to play a song on piano, and he started screaming to sing the song with Swift for some reason, probably because of the drugs.
Here is what Taylor Hawkins said:
“It’s funny because Paul played the song on the piano, and it was a new song, everyone was hanging around, and when he finishes it, his daughters were like, ‘Go on, Dave, it’s your turn!’ And I’m like, ‘I don’t play the piano, I don’t know what to do.’
And there are guitars in the room but they are all fucking left-handed… It was like a disastrous nightmare. And Taylor was like, ‘I’ll do a song.’ And she gets to the piano, and she starts playing this thing, and I kind of smoked a little pot, which rarely happens, and I was like, ‘What’s this fucking song, I feel like I know this one?’
She was doing ‘The Best of You’ on piano, and I was like, ‘What do I do?’ And she was singing beautifully, someone said, ‘Sing with her, Dave!’ And I started screaming. So fucking weird.”
