System of a Down have added a third show at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California, posted on Instagram. The band’s announcement confirmed that Gojira will join as special guests for the additional dates.
The band initially announced a June 5th show at the venue. They have now expanded to three nights, with the new dates set for June 6th and June 10th, making these their only North American concerts in 2027.
System of a Down’s announcement read: “ROSE BOWL x 3. We’ve added a 3rd night. Joining us as special guests will be Gojira. Pre-sale for our June 10 show opens at 11:45AM PT.”
The band also provided details about ticket access. “Those who registered for the June 5th date have pre-sale access for June 6th and now also for June 10th. General on sale for all shows is Monday, Oct 26, at 10AM PT.”
The three Rose Bowl shows represent System of a Down’s North American concert activity for 2027.
The announcement follows the band’s sold-out European stadium tour in 2026, which featured back-to-back sellouts in Paris, London, and Warsaw. The tour launched on June 29, 2026 with a show at Strawberry Arena in Stockholm, marking their first European tour dates since 2017. The Stade de France hosted around 100,000 fans across two nights, with every ticket sold.
The Rose Bowl concerts also align with the 25th anniversary of System of a Down’s landmark album Toxicity, released in 2001. A Los Angeles exhibition marked the milestone with memorabilia and artifacts from the album’s era, bringing renewed attention to the band’s classic work during 2026.
Beyond the Rose Bowl shows, System of a Down have announced 2027 concerts in Brazil, Australia, and New Zealand with Faith No More. The Rose Bowl dates will mark the band’s first performances in the Los Angeles area since 2022.
