System of a Down announced their first-ever performance at Pasadena, California’s Rose Bowl Stadium on June 5, 2027 with special guest Pierce The Veil, posted on Instagram. The show marks their only North American date for System of a Down in 2027.

The band explained the presale process in its statement. “Presale registration is open now through Wed, Oct 21 at 9PM PT via the link in bio. Please note: SOAD mailing list subscribers must still register to receive presale access. There will be no code. Registering will ensure you are notified when the presale is available to you. Presale begins Fri, Oct 23 at 10AM PT. General on-sale is Mon, Oct 26 at 10AM PT.”
The announcement confirmed the historic venue booking for the Los Angeles-area metal act.
System of a Down recently completed a European summer stadium tour with back-to-back sellouts in Paris, London, and Warsaw. The band has also been marking the 25th anniversary of their album Toxicity with an immersive exhibition at Beyond the Streets in Los Angeles that features rare artifacts and memorabilia from the album’s era.
Beyond the Rose Bowl date, System of a Down will perform a series of 2027 concerts in Brazil, Australia, and New Zealand with Faith No More. These shows are scheduled for January 15 in Rio De Janeiro, January 22 in Sydney, January 27 in Melbourne, February 1 in Brisbane, and February 7 in Wellington.
Pierce the Veil formed in San Diego and have become one of modern rock’s most influential and electrifying bands. Known for their explosive live shows and a genre-blurring mix of emo, punk, metal, and pop, the band has been drawing major crowds on their I Can’t Hear You Tour with sellouts at Madison Square Garden, Red Rocks and multiple nights at the Kia Forum.
System of a Down last performed in the Los Angeles area in 2022 before embarking on a series of co-headlining stadium dates in 2025 with Korn, Avenged Sevenfold and Deftones. The Rose Bowl show represents their return to major stadium venues in their home region.
