Steven Tyler Resurfaces At Sammy Hagar’s Party And He Seems To Be In Good Shape

In a recent video shared by Sammy Hagar’s son, Aaron, at Sammy’s party, Steven Tyler was spotted apparently in good health.

Tyler is seen smiling and talking to Hagar in the video. Sharing fun moments from the night, Aaron wrote in the caption:

“The Hagar clan sure can party! The girls shut the place down! Seriously, they locked the gate behind us! But the Monahans were in second place. Such a fun event, and it was alive! Happy New Year everyone! Cheers.”

Tyler’s Vocal Cord Injury

The Aerosmith lead singer hurt his vocal cords during a September concert. He first thought he couldn’t sing for 30 days. However, Aerosmith later delayed their final tour to ‘sometime in 2024’ because Tyler’s injury was worse than they first believed. They said in a September post:

“His doctor has confirmed that in addition to the damage to his vocal cords, he fractured his larynx, which requires ongoing care. He is receiving the best medical treatment available to ensure his recovery is swift, but given the nature of a fracture, he is being told patience is essential.”

Later in October, a new photo of Steven was posted on Instagram by photographer Ross Halfin. In it, Tyler is playing guitar and smiling in two pictures. Halfin mentioned in the caption that they spent a day in Los Angeles with Tyler, who’s recovering and not singing much.

Anticipation For Tyler’s Return To The Stage

It was also a matter of curiosity when the vocalist would return to the stage after this situation. His bandmate, Joe Perry, recently told the Boston Globe that they hope to start performing again later in 2024 after taking a break because Tyler was sick. The guitarist noted:

“We’re so bummed we missed our New Year’s Eve show. But with any luck we will be back out late summer and fall of 24. And there’s always next New Year’s Eve! Stay tuned for that.”

In his interview, Perry also announced something fans will be happy to hear. He said they have a lot of new content, including remixes and different versions of songs, which they plan to release over the next year and a half.
