Staind’s Aaron Lewis Faces Backlash After Killing 32 Coyotes For Donald Trump

Aaron Lewis received backlash after sharing a picture on Instagram, showing he’d killed thirty-two coyotes during a recent hunt in Texas and used the animals’ dead bodies to write ‘Trump 24′ on the ground.
Lewis’ caption followed:
“Successful morning in Texas!”
After the post, PETA slammed the Staind frontman by calling him out in a statement to Billboard. The organization’s senior vice president Lisa Lange said:
“How vile and pathetic that a washed-up musician, desperate for relevance, terrorized and killed animals to get a brief taste of the attention he obviously craves.”
She further added, inviting the frontman to ‘seek attention through kindness:’
“PETA encourages Aaron Lewis to seek attention through some act of kindness, rather than slaughtering individuals who are simply trying to eke out an existence in an increasingly paved-over world.”
However, it seemed that not only PETA but some Staind fans were also not happy with the picture. One fan wrote on Facebook:
“I’m a huge fan, Aaron, and you were incredibly kind when we met. But I can’t with this…”
Another one commented:
“Lost another fan.”
