Sixx:A.M. has announced a special release through Nikki Sixx’s Instagram.

“SIXX:A.M. Announces ‘Prayers for the Damned & Blessed Deluxe Edition.’ Available as a special limited-edition Smoke Colored 3 LP and will available on all streaming platforms,” the band stated. “This deluxe edition set features both albums together with brand-new renditions of ‘Maybe It’s Time’ (Piano Version), ‘Prayers for the Damned’ (Piano Version), and an alternative mix of ‘We Will Not Go Quietly.'”

“We made some great music together,” Nikki Sixx commented about the band’s work.

Fans continue to request new music and tour dates. However, Nikki Sixx has indicated there are no current plans for such activities.

This special edition release marks the band’s first activity since their last musical offering in 2021.

Last.fm documented the band’s most recent release, their compilation album ‘Hits’ in 2021. The album featured a radio mix of ‘Talk to Me’ alongside several remixes and previously unreleased tracks.

The band released the original ‘Prayers for the Damned’ and ‘Prayers for the Blessed’ albums in 2016. Metal Storm praised both albums for their innovative sound and production quality.

The band’s official website highlights live performances as a crucial element of Sixx:A.M.’s identity. This makes their current hiatus particularly significant for their dedicated fanbase.

The deluxe edition release has generated enthusiasm among fans. However, DJ Ashba and James Michael have not made specific statements about potential future collaborations or reunion plans.
