Slipknot DJ and keyboardist Sid Wilson made his first social media appearance following reports of his dismissal from the band. Rather than addressing the firing directly, Wilson used the post to promote his newly updated independent merch store. Fans were left frustrated and without answers.
The post drew immediate reactions from fans who were expecting a statement about his reported departure from Slipknot.

The timing of the promotional content sparked strong responses in the comments section, with fans expressing their frustration openly.
“Ffs this fucking band. Could someone say outright whether Sid is fired or not?” one fan commented. “Stop treating the fans like shit. We’ve put up with so much bullshit recently.”
Another fan took a more cynical view of the situation, writing: “Perfect time to post this stuff, marketing strategy.”

Adding to the uncertainty, guitarist Jim Root addressed the situation on Instagram Stories. He posted a message urging fans not to believe everything they read. “Don’t believe everything you read. Stop. Think,” Root wrote. He stopped short of confirming or denying the reports directly.
