Former Skid Row singer Sebastian Bach shared lyrics from his solo song to send a message to Elon Musk on X. The post drew responses from fans both supporting and criticizing the musician’s statement.
Bach posted lyrics from “Future Of Youth,” a track from his solo album “Child Within the Man.” The song contains sharp criticism of what Bach describes as dishonesty and harmful behavior.
“Hey Elon, this one’s for you. ‘I just can’t take it, you know I had enough / Say I should fake it? I say alienate ’em / I try and hide it, my contempt for a shill / Grifter, misleader, on a campaign to kill,'” Bach wrote. He added another line from the song: “There’s only one side when the one side is hate.”
The post sparked debate in the comments. One fan agreed with Bach’s message, writing: “Love it! Elon is an evil devil. He’s got enough money to save humanity but he chooses data centers and political subsidies.”
Another commenter pushed back against Bach’s criticism. “What have you done besides make a lot of money and blow it on drugs and alcohol? Elon employees so many. He’s helping ALS patients be able to use their power chairs,” the fan responded.
Bach’s post was part of a public exchange about Musk and his work. The disagreement between Bach’s supporters and critics shows how the figure divides opinion online.
“Child Within the Man” arrived on May 10, 2024, as Bach’s first full-length album since 2014’s “Give ‘Em Hell.” The 11-track LP featured guest musicians including guitarists John 5, Steve Stevens, and Orianthi, and Bach described it as “an album more than 10 years in the making.”
“Future Of Youth” was the fifth music video released from the album and featured guitarist Orianthi alongside the Las Vegas Academy of The Arts Choir from Bach’s recently adopted hometown of Las Vegas. In the song, Bach stated that having the choir perform matched the message exactly, with the chorus declaring “The Future of Youth belongs to the Youth and no one else!”
Bach has maintained a demanding touring schedule since the album’s release. In 2024, he performed 91 shows, a record pace for the musician. In 2026, Bach announced “The Party Never Ends North American Tour” for spring, running from late February through early April with support from hard rock band Stitched Up Heart.
According to an interview in August 2026, Bach was planning his next album following the success of “Child Within the Man.”
