Sean Ono Lennon, son of John Lennon and Yoko Ono, announced the birth of his first child on Tuesday, September 1. The newborn marks the first grandchild for the late Beatle and his widow.
The announcement was shared alongside the reveal of the baby’s name, Aurelius, born to Sean Ono Lennon and his girlfriend, Charlotte Kemp Muhl.
“Charlotte Kemp Muhl and I have created a Human Bean!” Sean Ono Lennon said. “His name is Aurelius! Thank you!”
The arrival of Aurelius marks a new chapter for the Lennon-Ono family. John Lennon and Yoko Ono are now grandparents for the first time, and Sean Ono Lennon and Charlotte Kemp Muhl are parents together for the first time as well.
