Scorpions have announced that they are halting their touring activities until 2027, citing “unforeseen circumstances.” The band shared the update in a statement posted on Instagram.

The announcement came a day after Scorpions revealed they were postponing their 2026 residency at PH Live at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. The statement explains that the band’s remaining September shows in Mexico and Las Vegas will now be pushed back. The band plans to return in 2027 alongside a series of European dates.

“We regret to announce that, due to unforeseen circumstances, our upcoming September shows in Mexico and Las Vegas will need to be postponed,” the band said. “We are extremely disappointed but look forward to returning in 2027 along with a number of European shows with details to be announced soon. We cannot wait to rock with you all again!”

The band also addressed ticket holders directly, confirming how the postponement will affect existing purchases.

“To those who have purchased tickets, all tickets will be honored for the rescheduled dates,” the statement continued. “Refunds will be available for those who cannot attend the rescheduled shows.”

The postponement extends across the band’s entire remaining 2026 schedule. The new dates already offer a clearer picture of what fans can expect once the tour resumes.

Scorpions’ Las Vegas residency, originally slated to run from September 17 through October 3, 2026, has now been reset for September 9, 11, 14, 16, 18, 21, 23 and 25, 2027. The rescheduled shows will once again take place at PH Live at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.

The Mexico leg of the tour follows a similar path. Concerts originally scheduled for early September in Guadalajara, Mexico City and Monterrey have been moved to late August and early September 2027.

Beyond the rescheduled North American shows, Scorpions are also planning a number of European shows for 2027, continuing their “Coming Home – 60 Years of Scorpions” tour. Details are still to be announced.

The band has not detailed the exact nature of the “unforeseen circumstances” behind the postponement.
