Scorpions have postponed their 2026 residency at PH Live at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. Live Nation Vegas announced the postponement in a social media statement.
The statement explains that the band’s upcoming September shows will be pushed back due to unforeseen circumstances. It also outlines the band’s plans for a return in 2027.
“Scorpions regret to announce that, due to unforeseen circumstances, their upcoming September shows in Las Vegas will need to be postponed,” Live Nation Vegas said.
“The band is extremely disappointed but looks forward to returning to Las Vegas in September 2027,” the statement continued. “Scorpions are also currently planning a number of European shows for 2027, continuing their hugely successful ‘Coming Home – 60 Years Of Scorpions’ tour, with details to be announced soon.”
The postponement affects a run that carried significant weight for the band and their fans. The original engagement was built around a specific concept for the Las Vegas market.
The 2026 Las Vegas dates were originally set to kick off on September 17 at PH Live, branded specifically as “Scorpions – Coming Home To Las Vegas.” The residency was tied directly into the band’s ongoing “Coming Home – 60 Years Of Scorpions” world tour. It marked the milestone anniversary with a dedicated Vegas run rather than a standard tour stop.
Buckcherry had also been lined up to serve as the special guest for the 2026 shows. This gave the residency an added draw beyond the headlining act. That support slot’s status for the rescheduled dates has not been addressed in the postponement announcement.
The rebooked residency now carries a full slate of dates for September 2027. Shows are scheduled for September 9, 11, 14, 16, 18, 21, 23, and 25. The expanded 2027 calendar suggests the band intends to make up for the delay with an even fuller run once the residency resumes.
No further details on the reason for the postponement have been released. Additional updates on rescheduled dates and the 2027 European tour are expected in the coming months.
