Falling in Reverse singer Ronnie Radke recently addressed claims about a catfishing scandal involving Brittany Furlan. He responded to criticism in a statement shared on TikTok.

The statement focused on gender double standards in how restraining order cases and stalking allegations are perceived by the public.

“Ronnie Radke filed a restraining order and it got denied because there’s no violence involved and it’s really hard to do that,” Radke said. “But if a girl, the roles are reversed, and a guy said that about a girl what you said about me, the whole world would be shocked.”

Radke continued to elaborate on what he perceives as unfair treatment based on gender roles.

“So it’s okay for you to say something when I have to try to defend myself and protect myself from a person stalking me, it’s okay for you to say that because you’re a girl,” he continued. “But if I said that about you, trying to escape a psychopath, then the world would go crazy. Let that sink in.”

This response came after a music fan claimed she believed Brittany Furlan’s story about the catfishing scandal. She cited the denial of Radke’s restraining order request as supporting evidence.

The legal dispute between Radke and Furlan has escalated into a complex situation involving mutual restraining order requests and conflicting allegations from both parties.

Economic Times reported that Radke’s court petition alleges Furlan harassed him by driving to his home, sitting outside, and following him to a doctor’s appointment where she waited and stared. The restraining order filing represents Radke’s attempt to legally address what he describes as stalking behavior.

The situation became more complicated when Reality Tea revealed that Furlan, who is married to Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee, filed her own restraining order against Radke. Her petition alleges obsession during their alleged short-term affair while she was on a break from her husband. Her request was also denied by a court clerk as non-emergent.

The controversy stems from claims that Furlan made regarding their alleged relationship. Reality Tea noted that Furlan claims Radke begged her to leave Tommy Lee and harassed them both during a livestream. This ultimately led to his account being disabled on the platform.

Both restraining order requests being denied highlights the legal challenges involved in cases where allegations of harassment and stalking are made without evidence of physical violence or immediate threats. This aligns with Radke’s original statement about the difficulty of obtaining such orders.
