Robert Plant Releases New Music Video Of His Song With Alison Krauss, ‘Searching For My Love’

Led Zeppelin icon Robert Plant posted a sneak peek in a recent Instagram post to announce the release of a new music video for ‘Searching For My Love,’ which is the song he and Alison Krauss have collaborated on.

Robert Plant first met Alison Krauss in Cleveland, Ohio, at a Lead Belly tribute concert in 2014 and the pair performed Lead Belly’s ‘Black Girl.’ Following that performance, Plant thought it would be a good idea to work with Krauss on a new project. So, they ended up recording an album together in 2006.

Plant and Krauss released ‘Raising Sand’ in 2007, and the album became a huge hit, winning six Grammys and ‘Album Of The Year.’ Although fans expected a new collaboration between the two and speculated there would be a follow-up to ‘Raising Sand,’ Plant and Krauss didn’t release any new music until the release of ‘Raise The Roof.’

In August 2021, Robert Plant and Alison Krauss announced that they would come together to record a new album titled ‘Raise The Roof.’ Released on November 19, 2021, the album marked the pair’s first music effort together after 14 years. Just like ‘Raising Sand,’ this album also features covers, and it generally received positive views.

In a recent Instagram post, Robert Plant announced that a new music video for ‘Searching For My Love’ was released. He urged his fans to go and watch it and shared a sneak peek in the post. The song is the fifth track from ‘Raise The Roof,’ and it now has around 65,000 views on YouTube.

Robert Plant’s Instagram post read:

“Watch the new video for ‘Searching For My Love,’ the fifth track taken from the ‘Raise The Roof’ album.”
