Rob Zombie has stepped in to replace Alice In Chains at an upcoming festival date. The announcement came through Instagram.
The Boardwalk Rock festival has undergone several lineup adjustments. Mötley Crüe initially withdrew due to Vince Neil’s health issues. Alice In Chains took their slot but later canceled their appearance due to their drummer’s health concerns.
“We are now officially taking over the Alice in Chains slot next week due to their cancellation,” Rob Zombie announced.
The festival will proceed with Rob Zombie co-headlining alongside Def Leppard. Festival organizers will announce additional schedule details soon.
This last-minute change brings new energy to what promises to be a landmark event in Ocean City’s music scene.
Music Festival Wizard revealed the inaugural Boardwalk Rock festival’s dates. The event will take place on May 17-18, 2025, at the iconic Ocean City Boardwalk in Maryland.
JamBase highlighted the festival’s impressive roster. The two-day event features a mix of contemporary rock powerhouses and legendary acts, including Nickelback, Shinedown, and Three Days Grace.
Ocean City’s official website emphasized the festival’s significance. This marks the first major rock event of this scale at the boardwalk. The venue will feature multiple stages and expects to draw over 40,000 rock music fans.
That Festival Site noted additional performer confirmations. Veteran rockers Bret Michaels and Night Ranger will join the lineup. Their inclusion makes this one of the year’s most diverse multi-generational rock gatherings.
