The two iconic musicians worked on the cover of the famous Gang Of Four song ‘Natural’s Not In It,’ which was released last week.
‘Natural’s Not In It’ was a song by Gang of Four that took place in their debut album named ‘Entertainment!’ which was released back in 1979. The album was ranked the fifth-best album of 1979 by NME and received generously positive reviews both from critics and fans since it is regarded as one of the greatest albums of all time.
Following the release of the first song from the tribute album, titled ‘The Problem of Leisure: A Celebration Of Andy Gill And Gang Of Four,’ more details about it have recently been revealed. As the full tracklist of the album released today, it appeared that Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Flea and John Frusciante would also take place in the exciting project along with La Roux, Warpaint, IDLES, and Gary Numan.
According to the tracklist, Flea and Frusciante teamed up for a cover of Gang of Four’s ‘Not Great Men‘ while IDLES worked on ‘Damaged Goods‘ and La Roux presenting her own take on the song later on the record.
