Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Flea Mocks ‘Miserable’ Rock Bands

Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea recently posted a tweet in which he targeted some rock bands who are miserable and tries to attract attention by using their image. Upon seeing this tweet, some of his fans agreed with him while others made some humorous remarks.

Apart from his musical efforts with RHCP, Flea is known for his frequent use of social media. Mostly on his Twitter, the bassist comments on recent news in the music scene and talks about how he admires the Lakers, the basketball team of which Flea is a die-hard fan.

In one of his recent tweets, the bassist made a remark on rock bands which he thinks are miserable. He stated that those rock bands focus more on their looks than their music when their sound is miserable. However, Flea didn’t reveal which bands he was talking about.

As a response to Flea, some of his fans sarcastically posted early pictures of Red Hot Chili Peppers, giving them as an example. They also stated that RHCP was always miserable then because they were always looking handsome. On the other hand, others agreed with the bassist for this remark, saying some bands use their appearance to make up for their lack of talent.

Flea’s tweet read:

“When rock bands are really miserable, they start trying to look handsome.”

One of his fans then said:

“Probably that’s the first thing that they try to do nowadays. That’s a miserable start!”

Another one added:

“When the talent is missing in a band, they use the old trick of appearance to make up for the lack of talent, but that’s more the fault of the labels that make disposable bands.”

One of them then stated:

Then RHCP was always miserable because you guys always looked handsome.”
