Pink Floyd Legend David Gilmour Spotted In The Studio

Pink Floyd guitarist David Gilmour’s wife and author, Polly Samson, recently shared a photo of Gilmour on her official Instagram account in which he was playing guitar in his studio. The fans got very excited and reflected their happiness about a possible upcoming David Gilmour album.

As you probably know, David Gilmour released his latest and fourth solo studio album entitled ‘Rattle That Lock’ on September 18, 2015. The album hit the charts and received very positive reviews from both his fans and music critics. Its tracks, ‘5 A.M,’ ‘Rattle That Lock,’ ‘The Girl in the Yellow Dress,’ and ‘Faces of Stone’ became very popular.

Then, David Gilmour fans had to wait for a very long time until the guitarist announced that he would release his first single in five years soon. He dropped ‘Yes, I Have Ghosts,’ which was inspired by a character in Polly Samson’s latest book ‘A Theatre For Dreamers,’ on July 3, 2020. However, a single wasn’t enough for his fans, so they expressed that they wanted to hear some news about his hopefully fifth solo album on their social media accounts.

It can be assumed from Samson’s latest Instagram post that David Gilmour is back in the studio to work on his new songs and album. Neither Samson nor Gilmour shared any other updates or news about the upcoming projects, but most fans expressed that they can’t wait to hear some new tunes. The Pink Floyd guitarist will probably reveal more details about his current projects soon.

Polly Samson’s IG post read:

“Something in my eye… 317/365.
