Perry Farrell Releases A New Song With Foo Fighters’ Taylor Hawkins, ‘I Want To Revive The Music Industry’

Jane’s Addiction’s Perry Farrell announced the release of his new single featuring Foo Fighters drummer, Taylor Hawkins, The Cars‘ Elliot Easton, and Bon Jovi keyboard player, David Bryan on his Twitter account and Farrell also shared his future plans for the music industry in a recent interview he joined.

As you may remember, Farrell released his second solo studio album entitled ‘Kind Heaven’ on June 7, 2019. Later, on January 22, 2021, he released ‘The Glitz; The Glamour’ as the collection of his life, music, and art apart from his projects in Jane’s Addiction. Both of them got very positive critics and were appreciated a lot. Recently, he started a new project with his wife, Etty Lau Farrell.

After announcing their Kind Heaven Orchestra project, Perry released his new single ‘Mend’ which was written with Foo Fighters drummer, Taylor Hawkins. The Cars‘ Elliot Easton was on the guitar and Bon Jovi’s David Bryan was on the keyboard. The song describes a person who wants to be with a friend in his hard times and that person was trying to mend the friend.

Moreover, in his interview with Taylor Hawkins as a promotion of their latest single which was released on 22 May 2021, Farrell gave the details about ‘Mend’ and his future plans for the music industry. ‘Mend’ was just the beginning of his Kind Heaven phase. Perry Farrell stated that he wanted to create a fire that will rise to heaven and wished to revive the music industry with a new approach.
