Paul Stanley Blames Kim Kardashian For Insulting Women

High society icon Kim Kardashian recently made some claims about women in business and received an infinite amount of backlash on social media. KISS frontman Paul Stanley also reacted to her statement and called Kim blind to reality.

Kim Kardashian is a highly followed pop culture icon with almost 300 million followers on Instagram. She was Paris Hilton‘s stylist before her sex tape with her then-boyfriend Ray J was leaked online. The Kardashian family turned this disaster into an opportunity and began making the long-running reality TV show ‘Keeping up with the Kardashians.’

With the show, the entire family’s name took off, and like her sisters, Kim also released skincare products, clothes, and shapewear. Hence, she became a businesswoman aside from being a celebrity who was constantly criticized for earning millions without doing anything productive.

In her last appearance on Variety, Kim shared some advice for women in business. She stated that no one wants to work these days, so they should work. These words received a lot of backlash from people worldwide and her former employees. The comments were mainly about Kim being born in a privileged family and still trying to speak for all women without being grounded to reality.

She stated:

Get your fucking ass up and work. It seems like nobody wants to work these days.”

Her sister Kourtney agreed:

So true.

According to the public opinion, her statements towards women were out of touch with reality and disregarded the struggles of not only women but everyone else who worked hard to pay for their rents and bills by working and sometimes working at two jobs. KISS’ Paul Stanley also found her words ridiculous, and he shared his opinion on Twitter. He noted that Kim insulted women who are constantly battling inequality in their work and suggested that Kim embrace her privilege with grace and not be blind.

Stanley commented:

“The irony here would be funny if it wasn’t such an insult to millions of women who struggle to achieve and put food on the table while battling a system of inequality and inequities. Kim, You were born rich. Embrace it with grace by not being blind.”
