Papa Roach’s Jacoby Shaddix Shares The Only Thing Worth Taking From Billy Idol

Papa Roach’s Jacoby Shaddix revealed who has inspired his style, and his admiration for Idol’s hair sounded like the most important characteristic Shaddix considered worth copying. During a recent interview with Danny Wimmer Presents, Shaddix was asked about his hair and the inspiration behind it, which turned out to be the Generation X frontman, Billy Idol.
After revealing Idol is his hair inspiration, the frontman was informed Idol would be on the show next week, which he got excited about and said:
“Really? Oh dude, tell Billy I said hi; what’s up.”
Later, Shaddix went on to explain how he does his hair and what his bandmates suggested for his hair:
“It’s not exactly like Billy does because he keeps it look like longer on the sides. But I’ll tell you, through the years, the band was like, ‘Dude, why don’t you grow your hair out’ and I was like, ‘The f*ck do you think Billy Idol grows his f*cking hair out? You think he grows his hair out?’ No.”
The frontman has been using the same hairstyle for over ten years, and in an earlier interview, he shared that he had tried a couple of different hairstyles over the last 20 years but stuck to his current one.
Papa Roach announced a short U.S. tour with Spiritbox in addition to their upcoming tour with both Shinedown and Spiritbox.
