Ozzy Osbourne’s Wife Sharon Denies Racism Accusations And Calls Prince Harry A Poster Boy

In an interview with Real Time With Bill Maher, Ozzy Osbourne’s wife Sharon opened up about the backlash she received from the public and accused of being racist which led to her dismissal from The Talk.

As you may know, Ozzy Osbourne’s wife Sharon has been facing criticism on social media platforms due to her controversial comments about race on The Talk show, which she has been co-hosting for a while. During a previous episode of the show, Osbourne had a dispute with her co-host Sheryl Underwood, who is a person of color, about her support for Good Morning Britain host Pierce Morgan.

Morgan was also the target of criticism since he claimed Megan Markle’s statements about racism in the Royal Family didn’t seem real to him. Sharon showed support to her old friend Pierce by posting a tweet in which she defended his right to express his opinions freely. Her comments on Twitter became the main topic of discussion on the following episode of The Talk, during which Sharon asked her co-host to ‘define racism.’

Osbourne’s demand for the definition of racial injustice wasn’t well-received by the public even though she released a statement to apologize to her co-host and everyone who was offended by her comments. She later announced that she decided to leave her position in The Talk, according to an official statement released by CBS.

Recently, Sharon Osbourne joined an interview with Real Time With Bill Maher and opened up about her feelings regarding the racism accusations against her. During the conversation, she stated that it wasn’t fair to be accused of being racist. Sharon mentioned that she has been called so many things in her life, however, she won’t accept being called a racist.

Furthermore, Osbourne said that it was impossible for her to feel empathy for Prince Harry since he was just sitting there, during the Oprah interview, and complaining about his family. Sharon called Harry a poster boy who shouldn’t be ‘boo-hooing’ about being cut off by his daddy since he is a ‘healthy, bright educated young man who can go do whatever he wants.’

Here’s what Sharon Osbourne stated about racism accusations:

“It’s not fair, because it isn’t about being a racist. It’s about maybe about not knowing what is correct and woke for your language that day because it changes from day to day. I’ve been called so many things in my life, I am so used to being called names, but a racist is one I will not take.

You know when they say with white privilege? Right there with Harry. He’s the poster boy. He sits there and says daddy cut him off so he’s not on the wages anymore and he was boo-hooing about it. You can’t feel empathy for that because you are a healthy, bright educated young man. You can go do whatever you want to do. Your life is your own.
