The lineup for Ozzy Osbourne’s final show is set to expand with additional acts and surprises. Event producer Andy Copping shared this information, as reported by Hello Rayo.

Copping discussed the ongoing changes to the show’s roster and the logistical planning for the historic event.

“There’s a couple of acts that have confirmed but not been announced yet so they’re going to be part of the proceedings,” Copping said. “There’s still one or two that have kind of popped their head up literally in the last week saying they would like to be part of the event. So we’re talking about how we can fit those into the schedule.”

The producer emphasized the challenge of accommodating new additions while maintaining the show’s quality.

“That’s another thing we’ve got. We are completely full, we’ve only got a set amount of time, but we also don’t want to miss out on opportunities of people we think will also give us a second enhancement of how great the bill is,” he continued. “So, yeah, there’s gonna be two or three surprises.”

Copping also revealed technical details about the event’s staging setup.

“The event itself is going to be very fluid. We’ve got a revolving stage so when somebody is playing, we’re gonna be building up the back line and everything for the act after that,” he said. “It is going to make things run really, really smoothly.”

The concert represents a significant milestone in rock history. It marks both Osbourne’s farewell performance and a rare reunion of legendary acts.

VH1 News Desk reported that the concert titled “Back to the Beginning” is scheduled for July 5th at Villa Park in Birmingham, UK. The event will feature the first full reunion of Black Sabbath’s original lineup—Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward—performing live together for the first time in almost 20 years.

The lineup already includes metal legends such as Metallica, Slayer, and Pantera. Recent additions of Sammy Hagar and Wolfgang Van Halen have joined the all-star roster. Wikipedia noted that the event is designed as a celebration of Osbourne’s career and the city of Birmingham, which is widely recognized as the birthplace of heavy metal music.

“How could anyone refuse to be in this lineup! #flyinghighagain and #rockcandy got my choice of guitar, bass, drums guess who I’m gonna be jamming with,” Sammy Hagar expressed his excitement about joining the event.

Wolfgang Van Halen also shared his enthusiasm for participating in the historic concert, stating, “Honored to participate in such a legendary event. See you there.” BPR revealed that all profits generated from the concert will be equally shared between charitable organizations Cure Parkinson’s, Birmingham Children’s Hospital, and Acorn Children’s Hospice. This underlines the event’s philanthropic purpose.

The final lineup announcements are expected to be revealed closer to the show date.
