Kelly Osbourne responded to rumors circulating about her parents, Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne, allegedly having a suicide pact. She addressed the claims in a statement shared on Instagram.

The rumors originated from a viral video that made specific claims about the couple’s end-of-life plans.

The woman in the video about Ozzy and Sharon’s death pact said, “Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne plan on leaving this world together after sharing that they have an assisted suicide pact in place.”

“The 72-year-old said that at the first sign of Alzheimer’s or dementia, they will head to a company called Dignitas, which is a non-profit organization in Switzerland, that helps people end their own lives in peace and comfort,” she continued. “Since assisted euthanasia is legal in Switzerland, Sharon and Ozzy have already signed the paperwork and are prepared to move forward when the time comes.”

Kelly’s response was a direct rebuttal to these allegations.

“What the f*ck is wrong with these people?” Kelly Osbourne said. “Stop making articles or posts about how you think my parents are having a suicide pact.”

She continued her defense of her parents with additional clarification.

“That’s bullsh*t, my mom said, to get attention for one time,” she said. “And my dad is not dying. Stop!”

Kelly’s strong reaction comes amid ongoing concerns about her father’s health. The family has also had public discussions about end-of-life decisions.

People reported that Ozzy Osbourne has been dealing with significant health issues, including Parkinson’s disease. The condition has affected his mobility and rendered him unable to walk. Despite these challenges, Parade noted that his wife, Sharon, has emphasized that his voice remains strong throughout his health struggles.

The speculation about the couple’s end-of-life plans intensified after People covered Ozzy’s final show with Black Sabbath. This sparked renewed interest in their future plans. The performance marked a significant milestone in the rock legend’s career amid his ongoing health battles.

Parade revealed that Sharon had previously discussed their belief in euthanasia. She stated they would consider it if they were diagnosed with a condition affecting their brain function. However, there is currently no evidence to suggest that they have left the country or are actively pursuing those plans.

The rumors had claimed that Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne planned to use assisted suicide services in Switzerland at the first sign of Alzheimer’s or dementia. Kelly’s response appears to dismiss these claims as false and attention-seeking.
