Original Jane’s Addiction Is Back After 14 Years: Fans Call It ‘Phenomenal Return’

Jane’s Addiction made a comeback to the stage with their classic lineup at London’s Bush Hall on May 23. The performance marked their first live show since 2010.

Fans celebrated the event on social media. A person wrote on Instagram:

“This show was even better than last time I saw them in 1990! Phenomenal return. Fantastic night.”

Original Guitarist Is Back

The band uploaded a video from their recent performance on Instagram with the caption ‘We’re back.’ The post received positive feedback, especially about Dave Navarro’s return:

“What a blast, what a gig guys!! Dave was on fire you were all on fire guys!!”

A user commented:

“The original 4. Wow, that sounded so refreshing to hear you guys start with a new song. It just felt so organic and had an old school vibe, too. I felt like I was transported back to ’92 when I first saw you guys. So rad!”

The Band Has A New Tour On The Horizon

Dave Navarro missed Jane’s Addiction’s tours in 2022 and 2023 due to long-term effects from Covid. The band announced his comeback show at the Bearded Theory festival on May 10. Tickets to the headlining performance sold out quickly after the news.

The original lineup played tracks from ’Nothing’s Shocking’ and ’Ritual de lo Habitual’ during the night. They also performed last year’s ’True Love’ and their newest track, ’Imminent Redemption.’

Jane’s Addiction will perform next in the South Derbyshire District on May 25. Their European tour will continue until early July.
