This marks a significant expansion in the availability of the side-project album, giving fans worldwide access to physical copies in multiple formats.

The upcoming release represents the culmination of a nearly two-decade journey for this unique project within Slipknot’s catalog.

Slipknot Wiki reported that the album was recorded nearly 20 years ago by four Slipknot members during the All Hope Is Gone era. Corey Taylor, Shawn “Clown” Crahan, Sid Wilson, and Jim Root worked on the material in Studio B and a nearby house, creating what would become one of the band’s most anticipated archival releases.

The project was conceived as something distinctly different from Slipknot’s main catalog. Slipknot Wiki noted that the songs were described as more offbeat and experimental than the main album sessions, which explains why the release has long stood apart in the band’s discography as a more artistic venture.

The path to this wider release has been marked by significant delays and strategic rollouts. The Daily Star revealed that the album has experienced numerous delays and was previously tied to Record Store Day release plans. This helped build its reputation as a long-awaited archival release among metal fans.

The June 12th announcement signals the band’s commitment to making this experimental work accessible to a global audience. The band is moving beyond limited availability to offer fans worldwide the chance to own physical copies of this unique chapter in Slipknot’s creative history.
