Nikki Sixx Reacts To A 15-Year-Old Girl Singing Mötley Crüe’s ‘Live Wire’

Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx shared a post on his official Instagram page in which he revealed the performance of a young contestant named Casey Bishop who blew the judges’ minds in American Idol with her performance of ‘Live Wire’ and Sixx showed his support for the contestant.

As many of you know, ‘Live Wire’ is the debut single of Mötley Crüe which was released on their 1981 debut album ‘Too Fast for Love.’ The song was written by Nikki Sixx himself and became a monumental track of the band as well as fans since it was ranked number 17 on VH1’s list of the 40 greatest metal songs of all time in May 2006.

Since there is not much of a teenager who is interested in iconic rock and roll tracks and bands, a recent contestant in a recent episode of American Idol was a big surprise to many. Her name is Casey Bishop and she is a 15-year-old who is into classics like Nirvana, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Sublime, and Ella Fitzgerald.

In addition to her music taste, Casey also impressed the judges with her jaw-dropping performance of Mötley Crüe’s song, ‘Live Wire’ in her version. The official Instagram page of Mötley Crüe shared the video of her performance to show their support for the young musician, and fans are thrilled to see such an adorable moment.

In addition to Mötley Crüe, Nikki Sixx also shared a post on his official Instagram page, resharing his band’s post along with adding his own opinions about Casey Bishop by stating that her version made the lyrics and melody pop, Sixx also supported the 15-year-old vocalist.
