Nikki Sixx Announces That Mötley Crüe To Start Full Band Rehearsals Next Week

Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx shared a post on his official Instagram account announcing that the band would begin rehearsals next week.

In 2019, Mötley Crüe announced a significant tour would begin in 2020. However, they postponed the plans because Covid-19 occurred suddenly. Although they rescheduled the tour dates to 2021, the ongoing pandemic prevented them from starting to work on their projects.

Stadium Tour was postponed again and planned to begin on June 16, 2022. Previously, Nikki Sixx stated that the band would hit the road at this appointed time when the fans expressed their concerns about another possible delay. Mötley Crüe will perform with notable names like Def Leppard and Joan Jett on this tour.

In a previous interview, Def Leppard’s Vivian Campbell also talked about the upcoming tour with Mötley Crüe. The guitarist mentioned that Def Leppard and Mötley Crüe would play for 90 minutes during the performance. Campbell also indicated that the rehearsals would probably begin in May and take several weeks.

Nikki Sixx recently shared an Instagram post and stated that he had his first off day for a while, on May 1, 2022. The bassist also added that Mötley Crüe would start the rehearsals altogether in the upcoming week. Currently, the band has more than a month to prepare themselves for the long-awaited tour.

In his IG post, Sixx penned:

“Sunday, May 1st, a 2022-First day off I’ve had in a while. Full band rehearsals start next week.”
