TMZ has reported new details about a physical altercation between Mötley Crüe frontman Vince Neil and his girlfriend Rain Hannah Andreani in Tennessee. According to TMZ, police have identified Rain as the primary aggressor in the incident.
The altercation took place on Sunday afternoon in Williamson County, Tennessee. An arrest affidavit obtained by TMZ provides details of what happened during the heated argument between Neil and Andreani.
“Vince Neil’s girlfriend Rain Hannah Andreani allegedly went ballistic on the Mötley Crüe frontman during a violent altercation Sunday in Tennessee and cops say Rain launched hard objects at Vince, ripped his shirt, and even tried to kick him in the testicles,” according to the report.
The affidavit describes the sequence of events in detail. “According to the arrest affidavit, obtained by TMZ, Vince got into a heated argument with Rain in Williamson County, TN, on Sunday afternoon, during which Rain hurled a glass plate at Vince, striking him in the neck. The affidavit also says Rain tore Vince’s shirt and scratched his chest, leaving visible injuries. Rain then allegedly threw several glass vases, causing them to shatter.”
Police responded to the scene after a call for a domestic disturbance. “Cops say, as a result, Vince pulled Rain down to the ground by her hair but, as he did, Rain allegedly tried to repeatedly kick him in the balls. The affidavit says Rain told cops Vince punched her in the face, but cops say they didn’t see a visible injury to corroborate her claim. Police responded to a call for a ‘domestic disturbance’ and ultimately decided that Rain was the primary aggressor.”
Rain Hannah Andreani was arrested following the police investigation into the altercation.
Neil and Andreani have been in a on-and-off relationship since 2011. In May 2025, Neil ended the relationship after his assistant informed him of an alleged affair, but the couple resumed seeing each other the following month.
Andreani survived a serious incident in February 2025 when she was aboard Neil’s private jet at Scottsdale Airport in Arizona. The plane veered off course and collided with another jet, killing pilot Joie Vitosky. Andreani suffered five broken ribs in the crash. Neil was not on board the aircraft.
Neil has dealt with health challenges in recent years. In December 2024, he suffered a stroke, awakening to find his whole left side had gone out. A neurologist confirmed that Neil has four scars in his brain, evidence of previous strokes. Because of his stroke, Mötley Crüe postponed dates of their Las Vegas residency from March and April to September and October.
Andreani is scheduled to appear in court on December 3 at 1 p.m. local time in connection with the domestic-related assault charge.
