Michael Keene, the only consistent member of The Faceless, has teased new music on Instagram.
Former members have gone on to play in bands like Whitechapel, The Zenith Passage, and Job For a Cowboy. Now, with Keene hinting at new music, it seems like The Faceless could be coming back.
The musician shared an update on Instagram, his first in nine months. In the comments section, he revealed, “Alright boys. Settle down now. I am currently writing and recording new music after taking some much needed time off. So now that we have that cleared up, we can focus on my question. If you’re a dude, you’re welcome to answer, but just know it wasn’t my target demographic on this particular post. Hearts and kisses.”
The band is known for their technical death metal sound. They have faced many lineup changes and issues since their 2006 debut.
Over the years, The Faceless has had several members come and go. Keene handles the music and James Dorton from Black Crown Initiate is the vocalist. The band has been quiet since 2022, so it caused fans to believe they might be on hiatus.
The details are still scarce, but it seems it’s only a matter of time before The Faceless releases new music.
