Megadeth And Lamb Of God Announce Their Upcoming 2021 Tour Dates
Megadeth recently posted a photo on their official Instagram account and announced that the Metal Tour of the Year, in which they will be co-headlining with Lamb of God, has been postponed once more due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
As you know, shows have been getting postponed since March 2020, following the outbreak of the pandemic, which brought the world to its knees. Even though musicians of the rock world had rescheduled their 2020 performances for 2021, in the past weeks most musicians and bands have been postponing their shows to 2022.
However, it seems like Megadeth and Lamb of God are still hopeful as they recently announced their rescheduled tour dates. The two bands will start off their tour in Austin Texas on August 20, and perform their final show in Quebec City on October 2.
There’s another sentimental value of this tour as the Metal Tour of the Year will be Megadeth’s first North American tour after four years of absence and it marks the return of Dave Mustaine after his fierce battle and recovery from throat cancer.
Here’s what Megadeth said in the caption of their recent post:
“The Metal Tour of the Year is coming for you! The rescheduled Megadeth & Lamb of God co-headline dates with special guests Trivium & In Flames are announced and will be back on sale Friday, May 7 at 10:00 am local time.
For dates, tickets, and VIP packages go to the Metal Tour of the Year website.
All previously purchased tickets for any of the rescheduled dates listed below will be valid for the new date. For any canceled dates, refunds will automatically be processed at your point of purchase.”
