Puscifer lead vocalist Maynard James Keenan opened up about the band’s latest album, ‘Existential Reckoning‘ during an interview with Kerrang, and apparently, the band is working on a brand new version of their album, however, the release date isn’t clear yet because of the coronavirus pandemic.
As you might know, Puscifer released its latest and fourth studio album, ‘Existential Reckoning‘ on October 30, 2020, and the album received generally positive reviews from critics, debuting at number 7 on the US Billboard Top Alternative Albums chart.
After the release of the album, Puscifer has been working on numerous projects that have been related to the album such as their record-breaking live stream show named ‘Existential Reckoning: Live at Arcosanti,‘ on October 30, 2020, from the high desert of the lead vocalist Maynard James Keenan’s home state of Arizona.
During a recent interview, lead singer Maynard James Keenan was asked about the latest album by an interviewer who thought the band may release other projects related to ‘Existential Reckoning.’ Apparently, Puscifer is currently working on a rework version of the album, however, the release date is vague due to the time gap that occurred because of holidays and the coronavirus pandemic.
Here is what Keenan said:
“We’re actually working on a rework album, but I have no idea when it will come out because everything with COVID and holidays threw a wrench in some of it, but it is getting done. We don’t have anything scheduled yet for it to come out, but those are songs that are going to probably change direction, and when we go out and actually tour them, they’ll probably evolve as well.”
