The shows mark a major milestone for the album that defined Manson’s career. Fans who attended the performance took to social media to praise his stage presence, vocals and overall intensity.

One fan wrote: “All hail HIS HIGHNESS! Back with a vengeance. Show this to Axl Rose et al, this is how you get it done as an ‘aging rockstar.’ Deep gratitude for his recovery work, it is the reason THIS is happening. The world needs a little Manson right now. Or a LOT.”

Another attendee described the experience: “Of the four times I’ve seen him since 2025, this show was definitely the most intense. And the most metal! I still can’t get over how amazing he looks and sounds here. Videos and pictures don’t do justice how huge all of this felt being close to the stage.”

A third fan focused on Manson’s vocal performance: “His voice and stamina are so much better now. He screamed out the words to Angel With The Scabbed Wings consistently again like it’s 1996. For years he lost breath and talked it out. Such a great performance.”

The performance marked the start of Manson’s tour celebrating three decades since ‘Antichrist Superstar’ first arrived. The positive fan reaction suggests strong interest in the remaining shows of the series.

Antichrist Superstar arrived on October 8, 1996, through Nothing and Interscope Records. Produced by Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails and recorded in New Orleans, the platinum-certified album became a defining moment in rock music. The single “The Beautiful People” earned three MTV Video Music Award nominations, and critics credited the record with ending grunge’s dominance in popular culture.

Manson chose New Orleans, Louisiana, the city where the album was recorded, as the location to launch the 30th anniversary tour. Most of the album’s songs had not been performed live since 1997, making these shows a rare opportunity for fans to hear this material in concert. A 30th anniversary edition of Antichrist Superstar is set for release on January 15, 2027.

In 2021, the Los Angeles County District Attorney officially dropped all criminal charges related to an investigation into allegations against Manson after a four-year process. This development allowed him to move forward publicly. On February 5, 2026, Manson marked five years of sobriety, a milestone that critics and audiences have noted affects his performances; reviewers highlighted his improved stage presence and physical command without reliance on shock effects alone.
