A fan story about Bad Omens singer Noah Sebastian went viral on Twitter.
The posts describe an unusual meeting at a grocery store in Toronto, but the person who wrote the story said it is completely made up.
According to the fan’s tweets, they saw Sebastian while shopping and told him it was cool to meet him. The fan added that they didn’t want to bother him by asking for a photo. In response, Sebastian allegedly said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?” and started cutting the fan off repeatedly, saying “huh? huh? huh?” while closing his hand in front of their face.
Later, the fan saw Sebastian again near the checkout area. They claim he was trying to walk out of the store with 15 Uncrustables in his pockets without paying. A cashier stopped him and told him he needed to purchase them first.
At first, he ignored her and pretended he was too tired to hear. When he finally took the items to the register, he told the cashier to scan each one individually to “prevent any electrical infetterence.” The fan pointed out that the word ‘infetterence’ doesn’t seem real.
Before leaving, Sebastian allegedly turned around, winked at the fan, and then interrupted the cashier by yelling ‘concrete’ loudly as she tried to tell him the total cost.
The story quickly gained attention online, and many found the details hilarious to be real. Noah Sebastian has not responded to the post.
Bad Omens toured with Bring Me the Horizon last year, and Sebastian performed ‘Antivist’ on stage with Oliver Sykes. In January 2024, the band released the single ‘V.A.N.’ featuring Poppy, but the song only included her vocals. The band posted studio photos the following September, but as of 2025, no new album has been confirmed.
