Former Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher criticized contemporary bands in a recent post shared on X (formerly Twitter).
Gallagher’s characteristic outspoken style emerged as he compared media attention between Oasis rehearsals and current bands’ touring activities.
“Oasis rehearsals get more coverage than most bands tours shit,” Gallagher stated.
His comment surfaces amid growing speculation about Oasis-related activities and potential lineup changes for future performances.
Recent developments in the Oasis camp have generated mounting anticipation. Louder Sound revealed Gallagher’s playful suggestions for unconventional additions to the band’s lineup, including Peppa Pig and Sesame Street characters. However, official reports point to a traditional arrangement featuring Bone, Gem on guitar, Andy Bell on bass, and Joey Waronker on drums.
The increased media attention has brought its own set of challenges. Louder Sound reported Gallagher’s concerns about a potential “mole” within the Oasis camp. He warned that “any bigmouths talking to the press are gonna get dealt with.”
The ongoing situation has ignited fresh discussions about the Gallagher brothers’ relationship. Loudwire highlighted signs of easing tensions between Liam and his brother Noel. This marks a notable shift from their previous public feuds, when Liam frequently referred to Noel as a “potato.”
Gallagher maintains his bold statements about the band’s influence. Meanwhile, behind-the-scenes preparations for potential future activities continue to draw significant media interest.
