Korn Announces The Postponement Of A Show Due To A Coronavirus Case

The official Twitter page of Korn recently shared a tweet announcing an adjournment for their show in Scranton, PA due to a coronavirus case among their camp. Despite the band stated that a new date will be declared, they didn’t reveal the person who got the COVID-19 to their fans.

For those of you who may not know, Korn is currently touring across 17 countries and has 45 upcoming concerts. The band’s 2021 summer tour kicked off on August 5 in West Palm Beach, Florida. After a year filled with restrictions and precautions against the coronavirus pandemic, fans have been dying to see the band on an actual stage. However, the band announced unfortunate news to their impatient fans.

Korn was supposed to perform at the Pavilion at Montage Mountain in Scranton, Pennsylvania on August 14. Unfortunately, the band shared a post on its official Twitter page and delivered upsetting news. Apparently, one of the people among the band’s crew is tested positive for COVID-19 and to prevent it from spreading, Korn decided to put on a hold to their show.

The band also made sure that their fans keep their ticket so that they can attend the rescheduled date for the postponed show. What makes their fans wonder, on the other hand, is who got the coronavirus in their team since Korn didn’t reveal any names which means it can be a band member.

Korn’s announcement follows:

“Unfortunately, there has been a confirmed COVID-19 case within the Korn camp. The safety of our artists, crew, venue staff, and fans is our top priority, so we must postpone the show tonight.

We’re deeply sorry for this unfortunate last-minute news, but please hold on to your tickets while we work to get your rescheduled date sorted ASAP with Live Nation and the pavilion at Montage Mountain. Thank you for your understanding, and stay safe out there. We’ll be back soon.”

Fans now have to wait and see until the band announces the new date for the live performance with fresh information about their health status. They are more worried about Korn members’ health than the show since who got the coronavirus is still vague and hopefully, time will show.
